Payment Policy

A minimum deposit of $100 is required at the time of registration in order to hold a seat in the class. The remaining balance must be paid at least 14 days before the first day of class. The $100 deposit is non-refundable.

There will be a $10 fee on all bounced checks. Customers whose check bounces will be required to pay the remaining balance plus fee in Cash.

Rescheduling Fee

If you cannot keep your scheduled Behind-the-Wheel appointment for driving, you must notify Next Gear Driving School or the instructor at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in a $100 rescheduling fee.

 

Refund Policy

There will be a $100 Administrative fee on all approved refunded transactions, as allowed by NC DMV.

Next Gear Driving School will not refund any tuition monies when actual services have been rendered.

 

Replacement Certificate Fee 

Due to the limited supply of driver education course Certificates of Completion, a $35 fee will apply to all Replacement Certificate requests. 

 

“No-Show” Policy

Students enrolled in a Teen Driver’s Education class who are absent for any time during the class must make up the missed time in a future class class, and their driving dates may be affected as a result of missing class time. If an absence occurs, please speak with our office staff to facilitate new classroom dates/times for your student. Those who expect absences of more than 6 hours of the class session will be asked to change to a different class.
